The following is a list of some of the common questions we get about our services:
How often should I change my oil?
Regular oil should be changed every 3,000 miles, and synthetic oil should be changed every 5,000 miles. Checking your oil once a month is good maintenance practice.
What should the tire pressure be on my car?
It should always be set by the vehivcal manufacturer’s suggested PSI (pound per square inch) pressure specs. These specs are listed on the drivers door frame.
How often should I check my anti-freeze?
Checking your anti-freeze once a month is good practice.
How long do spark plugs last?
This depends on the type of spark plugs that are in your vehicle. Vehicles that are 15 years or older typically have standard plugs with a life expectancy of 12,000 to 15,000 miles. Newer model vehicles up to 2000 usually last 30,000 miles, and 2001 and newer model vehicles come with plugs that can last from 75,000 to 100,000 miles.
How often should I change the timing belt on my car?
You should refer to your owner’s manual regarding exact mileage details for timing belt maintenance. If you are unsure of your need to replace the timing belt, you should consult one of our service advisors for details.
